We believe every athlete deserves to feel supported, understood, and full of hope — no matter where they come from or what they're going through.
The Strong Minds Foundation was founded by high school student Jiya Chandel with a simple goal: to raise awareness about athlete mental health. Through education, advocacy, and support, we strive to help athletes prioritize their mental well-being both on and off the field.
In 2025, she took action. What began as a single counseling program in one community has grown into a multi-state organization serving over 1,200 young people through a few active programs.
Our mission has never changed: mental health affects every aspect of life, and every athlete deserves support, understanding, and hope. Together, we are building a future where mental wellness is a priority for every athlete.
See Our Programs"I founded The Strong Minds Foundation to promote mental health awareness, support, and education for athletes and communities. My goal is to help create a world where no one feels alone in their mental health journey."
Every interaction begins with empathy. We meet young people exactly where they are, without judgment.
We create spaces where every young person — regardless of background — feels seen, heard, and valued.
Our programs are grounded in the latest research in youth psychology and mental wellness.
We partner with schools, families, and local organizations to build lasting support networks.
Young people are not just our mission — they are our partners. Their voices shape everything we do.
We measure success not in programs delivered, but in lives changed and futures brightened.
Whether you donate, volunteer, or simply spread the word — you help a young person know they are never alone.
